>Hi Daniel,

Use Scotch double-sided tape around the edges. Do not use more tape than that, and do not use carpet tape. The idea is to have the kevlar attached firmly enough that it won't fall off, but still can be pried off to turn over or replace when the surface has deteriorated beyond usefulness.

Cynthia,
Thanks, for responding. I had considered 2 sided tape, but with the forces generated by the press I wasn't sure the plates could handle the stress. However, your resonse reassured me.
For those needing a stand I bought a Delta Universal Bench Tool Stand. While there are numerous holes for mounting tools on the stand, none of them lined up with the press frame. I centered the frame on the stand and marked 2 hole positions for the frame and drilled new holes. I recommend buying a pair of 5/16" full threaded bolts (not the ones with no threads at the top) with 4 matching washers to mount the press because the 1/4" bolts included with the stand seemed too light weight. Once mounted the press is rock-solid and at the perfect height.
