Troubleshooting

Ram will not lift or hold pressure:

1. Check that the release valve is closed
2. Valves may be blocked and may not close fully, to flush valves lower the ram and extract from the press frame, manually lift the ram several inches, open the release valve and force the ram down as quickly as possible.
3. Ram may be low on oil, check oil level and refill to proper level.
4. The reservoir may have a vacuum, pull the reservoir plug and allow air to flow into the reservoir.
